Tell us about Eight Inc.
Founded in 1989, Eight Inc. is a multidisciplinary design consultancy specializing in architecture, interiors, exhibitions and product design. It has designed retail locations and products for some of the world’s leading brands – including Apple, Citigroup, Nike, Virgin, Nokia, HP, and Coach. With offices in New York, San Francisco, Honolulu, London, Tokyo and Singapore, Eight Inc. seeks relevant and intelligent design solutions with each client-partner. This collaborative spirit is the key to achieving thoughtful and distinctive environments and products that successfully embody and contribute to our clients’ philosophy and strategic business goals. With international design awards and clients that include Apple, Coach, Nokia and Citibank, Eight Inc. is recognized internationally as an innovator in the landscape of architecture and design.
What got you interested in starting your business in Singapore?
We represent a global client base. To serve these clients, we have been expanding our international presence incrementally. In 2010, we introduced our London, Tokyo and Singapore offices.

Our design work calls for continually investigating change in the culture and lifestyle of how people learn, interact and engage in the world around them, and the social and architectural conditions that influence these changes. Our goal is to continue to create architecture that is conducive and supportive of human interaction globally.
