Hawksford Singapore Cares – An Afternoon with The Haven

In this season of giving, the staff and management of Hawksford Singapore gave back to the community on 21 December 2016 by sponsoring an afternoon of “bubble soccer”, gifts as well as buffet dinner to 17 of the beneficiaries, social workers and staff at The Salvation Army’s The Haven.

The Haven is a residential home to care for children and young people who are unable to be cared for by their own families. Residential care programme is provided and directed towards preparing the children’s and young people’s reintegration into the community and reunion with their families.

Five Hawksford Singapore staff attended the afternoon’s event and also learnt from The Haven’s programme manager on the various activities and care that are being provided for the children.

Serene Wai, HR and Admin Manager of Hawksford Singapore, said: “We are happy to be able to work with The Haven during this festive season and bring about joy to the children there at the best of our abilities. We would like to thank our colleagues as well as The Haven for providing us with this opportunity to support them.”
