Who is it for? For individuals with good educational and professional background. Both company owners as well as professional staff are eligible for Employment Pass. For individuals with good entrepreneurial background but who lack good education and are unable to qualify under Employment Pass category. Only company owners are eligible for Entrepreneur Pass.
What is the main evaluation criteria? Educational and professional background Business idea, business plan, prior relevant background, minimum paid-up capital of S$ 50,000, minimum 30% shareholding in the company, business must be registered as a Singapore private limited company
What is the minimum salary requirement? S$2500 S$2500

Can the pass be applied before incorporating the company? No. The Employment Pass can only be applied for after incorporation of the company.
