Janus interviewed Mr. Petteri Kostermaa – the Sales Director of Finnair Plc (Singapore Branch) – to learn more about his experience with setting up Finnair’s Singapore branch office:

Tell us about Finnair.

Finnair is a leading European airline focusing on Asian business travel. With 10 Asian nonstop routes connecting to some 50 European cities at our efficient Helsinki hub airport, we provide a fast and comfortable way to fly from Asia to Europe and back.

What got you interested in starting your business in Singapore?

We have had great success with our routes from other Asian cities to Europe. After realizing that there is a lot of potential in Singapore market we decided to commence direct flights from Europe to Singapore as well. In fact many of our corporate travel customers had been asking us to start this route for quite some time.

How did Janus help you along the way?

Janus helped us to register the company as a branch office in Singapore and to get Employment Pass and Resident Pass for myself and my spouse. Janus has also given lot of important and helpful information on living and working in Singapore.

What has your experience been working with Janus?

What are your plans in the future for your company?
